Glass Fusion
$32.00 per scout
1.5 Hours
Glass Fusion Patch is $2 plus tax
What is Glass Fusion? Only the hottest new art medium around! Express
yourself by creating beautiful art with glass!!! Instructors will teach you the
art of glass cutting, assembly, fusing, and slumping. Armed with your
newly acquired skills, you'll create a 6" item to be slumped into either a
sushi dish or bowl. Your leader will pick up your masterpieces in about
two weeks.

$30.00 per scout
One Hour
Glass Fusion Patch is $2 plus tax
Join us as we indulge in the latest craze in art expression - glass fusion!
In this introductory class, you will show your self-expression by layering
colorful pieces of precut glass to be fused into your very own one-of-a
kind glass art, great for gift-giving! Your leader will pick up your
masterpieces in about one week. Girls will complete one ornament and
one jewelry project!
Brownie Pottery Try It Program
$22 per scout
Available during weekdays and non-holidays only.
1.5 Hours
We will show you how pottery goes from being a modest slab of clay to a
hand-crafted work of art! Take a tour of the studio and see how we glaze
& fire your pottery! Plus you'll get to paint your own piece to give as a gift or
keep for yourself! We will work with your troop to complete the five steps
for the Brownie Try It.
*Due to time constraints clay items will not be fired. Participants can take
them home to dry. 6" inch ceramic tile will be glazed and fired and ready
in two weeks.
Creative Meetings
Looking for something different to do with your Daisy, Brownie or Girl and
Boy Scout Troop? Create It Ceramics is a great place for your creative
meetings.

- Find Some Pottery: Our studio showcases a variety of pottery
shapes and sizes. - Get to know Clay: An explanation of what clay is and how to
properly store and care for it, how to score, wedge and fire. - Make a simple pot: Girls will each make one simple pot (pinch,
coil or slab pot) with their clay slab* - Make an art piece: Girls will each design a 6” ceramic tile using
stencils, tape or free-hand drawing. - Paint and Glaze It: Girls will paint their ceramic tile using
underglazes. We will discuss how clear glaze is added and how
the kilns work.
